VoIP and Fixed and Mobile Convergence
Whatever VoIP Protocol is chosen by the operator, Bewan Software supports the SIP, MGCP and H323 protocols to enable users to make and receive calls over the Internet with either their landline or Wi-Fi mobile phone.

3G uplink support
As DSL line connection stability is the ultimate yardstick by which end users judge the performance of their operator, continuity of service is key. With Bewan Software, the gateway supports the 3G/3G+ USB key to allow the user’s connection to be switched automatically to 3G in the event the DSL line goes down. The whole operation is totally transparent for the subscriber and the user experience is positive.

TR-069 management
Bewan Software enables any gateway to support the configuration management protocol TR-069 to manage, configure, control and upgrade their installed base remotely. This function is crucial as it provides a simple, cost efficient way of activating new services and rolling out software updates for subscriber’s gateways, ensuring optimum ROI.

Digital Home Remote Control
Bewan Software includes Bewan HomeCenter, a ground-breaking web application that allows users to retain control over their home’s automated systems, even when they are out or travelling. All that’s required is access to the Internet or a mobile phone to communicate with the gateway and find out the status of the various home systems connected: heating, lighting, video surveillance, powerline, etc. Users can interact with any of the systems, for example, turning on the heating before they get home, deterring would-be burglars by switching on lights, and so on.

Photo Album/Video Library
Bewan HomeCenter also enables users to organise their images into photo albums and video libraries. They can publish them on the Internet where they can be viewed by friends, family or anyone else with permission.

Digital Jukebox
Bewan HomeCenter facilitates the creation of a personal digital jukebox to listen to music compilations over the Internet and share them with friends by allowing them to access the Jukebox over the net.

Video Surveillance
Bewan Licensing Program includes easyHome, an iPhone-based web application that enables users to access their IP video surveillance cameras remotely and view live videos on their iPhone.
